Our Parish

Welcome to the parishes of Askea and Bennekerry. A parish is nothing without its people, a people who care for each other, who support each other in difficult and in joyous times. We are very fortunate to have parishes that are alive in many ways. Hundreds of people are actively involved in the everyday caring and life-giving work of our parishes; and many thousands of people worship in our churches on Sundays and throughout the year when we celebrate significent moments in our lives.

Times are tough for people. Many are weighed down with financial worries or fear for their children’s future. Others have had their faith shaken by the scandals in the wider church. We live in a time of fear and doubt. More than ever we need to be a caring and faith filled community supporting each other on the bumpy roads of life. We hope that this website will encourage community involvement, that parishioners will find encouragement, support and information that may be helpful to your lives. We wish you every blessing.
